La Liga returns at the weekend as week 6 of the La Liga season sees surprise package Real Betis take-on Levante, Barcelona host Racing Santander at the Nou Camp, and Real Madrid travel to play Espanyol.

La Liga Betting – Real Betis vs. Levante (October 2nd)

Surprise package Real Betis remain top of La Liga despite suffering their first defeat of the season 1-0 against lowly Getafe.

Prior to this loss Betis had won four on the bounce, and they will be adamant to get back to winning ways against Levante at the weekend.

Levante have also made a dream start to their La Liga season and currently reside in third place.

After beating Espanyol 3-1 at the weekend thanks to goals from Jose Barkero and Ruben Suarez, Levante are undefeated having drew two and won three on the trot.

Last season Betis beat Levante 4-0, however the season before saw Levante take the points away from home with a 1-0 win.

La Liga Betting – Barcelona vs. Racing Santander (October 2nd)

Barcelona got back to winning ways last time out as they beat Atletico Madrid 5-0 at the Nou Camp.

After the champions drew 2-2 with Valencia in mid-week, the way they responded will please manager Pep Guardiola.

Barcelona currently sit second in the league, after collecting 11 points from five matches.

Their opponents Racing Santander are yet to win in La Liga and reside in 18th place, following three draws and two defeats.

Last weekend they played out a 0-0 draw with Sporting Gijon, as both teams failed to spark any creativity.

In the corresponding fixture last season Barcelona ran-out 3-0 winners. A Racing win is unlikely this time out, as they have never won at the Nou Camp.

La Liga Betting – Espanyol vs. Real Madrid (October 2nd)

Jose Mourinho saw his side return to winning ways last weekend with the 6-2 demolition of Rayo Vallecano.

Despite going behind after a minute and seeing Angel di Maria receive Real Madrid’s 17th red card under Mourinho’s stewardship, they produced a typically ruthless performance to move up-to third in La Liga.

Espanyol are 10th in La Liga despite being beaten at the weekend against high-flying Levante.

Espanyol will be without Walter Pandiani and Jordi Amat who were both sent off in the game against Levante.

Last season Real won 1-0 despite having goalkeeper Iker Casillas sent off after just two minutes.
