Iberians won the European Championships U19 after they defeated Greece in the last act of the competition. And this happened just two weeks after La Furia Roja managed to make history by being the first team in football history who managed to win three international trophies in a row: EURO 2008, World Cup 2010 and Euro 2012.
The only goal of the match was scored by Jesé Rodríguez in the 80th minute.
Spain has preserved the title won in 2011 in Romania, and reached to six European championships won by the establishment of the competition in 2002. In the 11 editions of the European Championship Under 19, Spain won the tournament six times and once was a finalist.
